Snow Week

Snow has gripped the nation for the second time this year!!! I had hoped it wouldn't snow until 2011 after the pain of January, but as you all know by now, the more you want something to "not" happen the more likely it will! Our office was closed yesterday & will remain closed today.
However, I have not managed to get in since Monday due to cancelled trains & bus companies not being prepared to travel to Scunthorpe to take us into Grimsby.
I took this photo about half an hour ago, it is my landlord furiously digging a space in the snow so he can park the company van! (I live above his printing workshop & had a ring side seat lol)

Hope you are all dry, warm & enjoying the day. Sometimes you just have to give in & make the best of a bad situation!!

I'm so glad you explained what he was doing Paula, I thought he was trying to get out of a space.
My husband has decided to stay home too, his excuse is he can't find the grass to cut!

I never knew you were a Yorkshire girl too, Paula. We've had the same this week but live on a steep hill so double the trouble!!!
Stay warm.

Well we certainly have had some snow!!!!!!!!! The roads are so dangerous, it makes sense to not travel unless you really have too......

Brrr! That picture looks so cold! Hope you are warm and toasty and making the most of being home! I'm not being very crafty either - have too many work and Christmas commitments to think about it much. Just wait till the New Year though - lol!

totally with you on that one hon - Grimsby has been gridlocked, we dont have the best record for clearing roads and keeping traffic moving, I decided to make the most of my 'grounded ' time and catch up on some crafting, take care and stay safe and warm xxx
