Commissioned Christening Card

This card was commissioned by
my friend Claire (the ex train buddy)
& recipient of the dog canvas
a few posts below.

My design brief was non religious christening
with a theme Peter Rabbit.

Here's what I came up with.
Have to say, I'm quite proud of this!

First image is  a sleeve to
cover the card.

The next  two pictures,
are of of the inside.
The 2nd picture showing the

Rod's Birthday Card

As I said in my last post, sharing Claire's birthday canvas,
it was also Rod's birthday and today I am sharing his card.

I got this stencil new recently. I really love TCW stencils
especially ones designed by Rebekah Meier.
I felt this design Mini Harlequin Circles just
spoke to me for a male card.
I added texture paste through the stencil and dried well.
I then over stamped with a Kaisercraft Stamp Dictionary
I coloured the background with Gelatos  & Ferro Gold paste.
I die cut two TH men, snipped off the brolleys
& reversed one so they appeared to walk side by side.
I added shadow with my Big Brush brown pen.

Happy Birthday, Claire (& Rod)

Today I am sharing the canvas I made for Claire.
It is also Rod's birthday and I will share his card
later this week. He hasn't seen it yet!

The photo belongs to Claire.
The picture is of Bailey and Baxter.
Bailey belongs to her mum & dad
Baxter is Claire's baby.
This photo was taken in November.
