Thank You & Dictionary Journal

 First off, a Masculine
Thank You for the gentleman that
lives directly behind me.
He showed patience while I
was having a new fence erected
and let me cut down some
ivy on his side that had taken over.
Can't go wrong with Tartan and a Stag!

Next is a page for my Dictionary Journal.
Page 6 is almost ready and page 7
is complete. So I can share those soon.
This one didn't photograph well.
Looks a bit bright. But I love it anyway.
Stamps & inktense pencils.

Three 2016 Cards

Three cards from last year.
Three completely different cards.
All taken in poor light, so not
the best of photos.

Card 1 - Thank You

Colleague Sharon
I absolutely love these papers by
The Works. They are a mix of glitter
and texture.
Flower is Altenew Peony Bouquet.
Matching Altenew Dies
Scalloped edge die - Sarah Davies

This is the centre of the design
just two simple matching strips of
paper and a stamped sentiment.

Card 2 - Get Well
Neighbour Fran

This was made using the same floral
bouquet stamp from in the last post.
I stamped and embossed it white
along with the dragonflies.
I then blended Distress inks;
Squeezed Lemonade/ Fossilised Amber
Candied Apple / Carved Pumpkin
Adding a little more Candied Apple
at the very edges to darken.
Butterflies were stamped and
coloured with Inktense Pencils

Card 3 - Sympathy
Neighbour Eve.

Very plain simple card.
I die cut the Memory Box flowers
and added them over a piece of
embossed handmade paper.
 Brushos & Floral embossing folder
Stamp - Stampin' Up

Two more cards

I found these two in the
unedited file.
Along with two others!

First one, A Congratulations Card
for sister, Tracy. She got a new job.
Stamped a free floral bouquet
(Creative Stamping - 29)
in sticky ink and embossed with
white detail powder. Background then coloured
with Lindys Nantucket Pearls.
Ironed off the powder once dry. Added
a Lawn Fawn Stitched frame (made from a
set of rectangle dies)
Die cut Memory Box flowers and
coloured with Lindys.

This next one was a commission
for a neighbour. She lives on the end
of our street, but in the next street.
She wanted something pink,
girly, glittery and soppy for
her 82 year old Mum's birthday.

She got what she wanted!
Pink Glitter paper - Forgot who made
Tonic Studio Dies - Heart
Altenen Vintage Roses:-
stamps & dies.
Altenew ink cubes :-
Frosty Pink / Puffy Heart
Coral Berry / Grapevine
Frayed Leaf / Forest Glade

Sharing Some Cards

First up is a simple Easter card
for my sister, Tracy.
She loves understated designs & I
think this Tim Holtz stencil with
texture paste gives just that.
Greeting Dina Wakley Stamp.

Next one is another Easter Card.
 This one was friend, Kate.
I used a gesso wash over the
Papermania Wood panel background
& then did some stamping.
I added some paper layers and stamped the feathers and
the rabbit.

  Final one, a birthday card
for a relative.
This was a more complex background starting off as
a piece of watercolour card smooshed with
Distress Oxide Inks
Over stamped (Gabrielle Pollacco)
and then die cut added.(Memory Box)
Dragon fly was stamped and cut by hand.

I am behind with my sharing so will be
back again soon with some to share from last year!
