Firstly, I would like to say, Thank You for the lovely comments I have been receiving on my blog. I often wonder how on earth I find time to create so much when I'm out at work 7 hours a day. But, I think if you have creativity in you, the golden rule is to MAKE TIME! I have learned the hard way about working more than playing. Recently I have had so much mojo that I'm chomping at the bit to get home & often sketch my designs while waiting for the stupid spreadsheets to load. Never waste a precious minute when it can be spent making something useful... an old adage I heard many times from my Grandma.
Secondly I am thrilled to have won one of the two RAK's over on the Arty Girlz blog. I am very chuffed. Sam won the other.
Now onto the cards.
This first one is for the DCM, LE challenge. I bought these travel stamps two years ago & have barely used them. Felt it was high time I did. Papers are K&Co. Ephemera, also K&Co. Envelope, from a friend :0)
Sadly the colour of the alcohol inks intensify in this poor light & it is far softer IRL.
I cut a square frame & added some stamped flowers around the edges.
In the centre I stamped the wheelbarrow stamp & then attached another one over the top.
The small vellum flowers haven't come out quite how I planned them.
Stamps, See D's. Paper, Papermania. Alcohol inks, Red Pepper & Cranberry, Adirondacks.
aw paula they are both fab love the stamps and collage of the first one and the other is just so pretty gorgeous colours.
