I found this new challenge blog, Saturday Stampers, last week & really wanted to take part. However, I had several items to complete for others & wanted the decks clear. I have only missed one challenge & that was poetry. I did my last GD DCM card mid week with a poem but as I had not stamped on the design it wasn't eligble for the challenge. Never mind, this one is & I adore trees. I especially love Autumn as the colours are amazing. Tree stamp, Inkadinkadoo & leaves, Autumn leaves 2, Habico. Frame is part of a transparency set by Crafty Bitz.
I stamped the front tree first in Versamark StazOn, timber brown I love what a crisp image I get with these inks on clear stamps & the ink comes right off the stamp onto the background. Sadly my coloured inks are rather cheap ones & the images are never quite so clear.I use Pretty Color pigment inks which I got a set of 30 for £10 from Lakeland. I used golds greens & browns mixed for the two trees either side & only partially inked the stamp.
This tree was actually sold in a Christmas set but I thought it look more like a grand old Oak.

Wow, a lot of nice things have happened since I was here last! I loev what you did for charity challenge, it's so clever. The France 4x4 is enchanting and the trees stand tall and firm, I love the colors! Btw, I'm sure you've noticed, but Gothic Arch has Fall theme - more chance to use your colors!
