Wednesday Stamper - Words

Fantastic theme for this week's Wednesday Stamper challenge.
Not the greatest photo of this card, but I am very pleased with the results. The photo corner in the bottom corner is silver, the shadows overcast it slightly. I made the 4x4 square first using some antique script paper torn & inked with Versamagic chalk ink, Tea Leaves. I added a nice stamped floral flourish (Design Objectives) in Versamagic chalk ink, Eggplant. The flower & butterfly are both from Crafty Individuals & are stamped on paper in Versamagic chalk ink, Wheat. I then added an offcut of silver & gold swirl paper from the DCWV, Luxury Stack to one side of a 5in card & placed the square in the centre. I love my new ink colours, did you notice?!!

  2. I did notice your ink colors...beautiful. Your layering of images and textures gives your work wonderful depth. I loved reading that you began your life in the arts, kniting etc...., at your grandmothers knee. You are so lucky to have had that kind of priceless training.
