Not the greatest photo of this card, but I am very pleased with the results. The photo corner in the bottom corner is silver, the shadows overcast it slightly. I made the 4x4 square first using some antique script paper torn & inked with Versamagic chalk ink, Tea Leaves. I added a nice stamped floral flourish (Design Objectives) in Versamagic chalk ink, Eggplant. The flower & butterfly are both from Crafty Individuals & are stamped on paper in Versamagic chalk ink, Wheat. I then added an offcut of silver & gold swirl paper from the DCWV, Luxury Stack to one side of a 5in card & placed the square in the centre. I love my new ink colours, did you notice?!!
Very fine combination of the elements, like your style!
ReplyDeleteI did notice your ink colors...beautiful. Your layering of images and textures gives your work wonderful depth. I loved reading that you began your life in the arts, kniting etc...., at your grandmothers knee. You are so lucky to have had that kind of priceless training.
