to my sister Tracy & brother in Law Martin.
Having seen the Jennifer McGuire Holiday Thinking Inking on 2peas & seeing the lovely examples of the block background technique on Godelieve's blog I decided to have a go. Unfortunately it went wrong afterwards & to rescue the card from ending its life in the bin, I had to cut the coloured piece with all my stamping & mount it to the front of another card!Happy Anniversary to you both.
This is lovely Paula, very pretty x
ReplyDeletewell i think it's gorgeous Paula. the butterfly is just right as the main element and colour contrast

ReplyDeleteHi Paula. I've just been having a catch up and love the card in your last post. That stamp is one of my favourites and you've given me lovely inspiration of using the cuttlebugg borders. Well done on selling so many of your cards too!
ReplyDeleteLove this Anniversary card. Well done on rescuing it although if you hadn't confessed no one would have been any the wiser. I love these collagy style backgrounds but am no good at them. Yours is just lovely.

ReplyDeleteWell considering it went wrong, you cannot tell. It is so pretty Paula. I love how you are always trying new techniques, I never try anything new....just stick to what I know.
