January Birthdays

 First card up is for Caitlin
a work colleague. This one was
made at 7:00am!! Forgot she
was going away.

Next three images are of the front,
inside and reverse of Penny's card.
She is the avid Alice Cooper slave &
I try to come up with
something new every year!
 Have to say I am very pleased with this one.
The colours are vibrant making the
black stamped images really pop out.
(Stamps Inkadinkadoo)

I like to continue my designs
inside where ever possible.

And, I also like to include
an image on the reverse if I have one
suitable.
I will be back with some more January birthdays soon.
I've also got an Art Journal page to share & a commissioned card.

New Year!

 First up, I have these 4 New Year cards.
This shows what you can do with a single
sheet of pretty A4 paper.
Paper in question, Prima Marketing Epithany.
Dies Tim Holtz Mixed Media
Distress Inks (colour behind die cut areas)
Glitter paper & number dies.

This next card is a 2nd of January birthday.
This was for craft buddy, Carol Quance.
Tag was a free die from a magazine
Stamp - amazing collage design Carabelle
Florals by Hero Arts.
This just shows the front and the inside detail.

 Love the font of this
free Birthday stamp.

It seems like all I have done is churn out
cards but there is an art journal page
about Christmas, to share soon.
That will be shared along with
another birthday or two!

More Cards Still!

First card to share is the one
I made for all of my neighbours.
This street sends a card to each other
so I thought as it was my first
year I must make an impression!
This card was made 16 times.

Next card is a Christmas Day Birthday.
My friend Anne was the recipient.
I made this one based on a Connie Stewart design.
Stamping Up dies & stamps.

The inside was stamped with some free stamps
For the floral image and quote.

This final card for today is a
New Year Day Birthday.
This went out to my Brother-in-law, Martin.
Made completely using free stamps!
 Got to love these magazines,
 giving free cover gifts.

More Cards

 The top card was created for craft friends.
It was designed on an idea by Connie Stewart.
Seriously, this flash card system saved
my Christmas.
 ~~~~~~
Now onto the special ones.
This first card is my Dad's.
Sadly I had no white fun foam and had to use blue.
It does shine through a little but I love it all the same.
My favourite combination, White, Deer
& trees. What's not to love?
Now for my Sister.
She is a huge fan of clean, simple
uncluttered and uncomplicated.
I think I achieved this.
I had a go at the inlaid die technique
demonstrated by Jennifer McGuire.
However, as my chosen die cut all the way out,
I backed it with vellum and added two layers
to make them stand a little proud
of the card front. The snowflake in the centre
is only one layer.
It is a little blurrred and the stamping
doesn't look clear but it is the way the design
was on those white flowers.
