Birthday and a New Art Journal

 First up, today is my beautician's birthday.

Happy Birthday, Hayley, hope it was fabulous.

I selected some soft colours and die cut

Tim Holtz wildflowers.

While they were drying, I used

the negative space as stencils over

the Kaisercraft Stamp.

Colours - Distress Ink;

Spun Sugar/ Milled Lavender/

Dried Marigold & Bundled Sage.

I spirtzed the die cuts with pearlised 

water so they dried shimmery. 

Next is the start of my brand new

Art Journal!

I have a couple of pages left in the last one

to complete. But, i was so

eager to begin.

This format is the same as my last

journal but instead of double page

spreads I have cut them into single pages.

Each page will begin with a dictionary page

and a single word and definition will

be masked off while I create.

The mask will be removed at the end

and the word highlighted.

First page is Courage.

Bo Bunny texture stamps

Heidi Swapp Gold spray splattered

Gold paint.Chit chat stickers.

 The colours are more vivid than they look here.

Heart designed by (I believe) Penny Bearcroft 

for Stamp Bug 

French wording stamp - Lime Citrón. 

These pages come together quicker than

the double spreads and I have already

got a set more pages to work on.
