Good Luck Card

My card making skills really are in trouble nothing works but as a colleague of mine handed in her resignation yesterday, I had to make her a Good Luck card. I'm fortunate that she is a girly pink, bling kinda gal so I didn't have to work too hard to create something with these BG Sultry papers.
Of course while I was at it I made a girly little something for myself. I love the papers & want something I can keep other than a page in my scrapbook album. I hand cut the frame & it's a bit wonky in places!

For my girly something I used a piece of gorgeous heather pink bazzill (which doesn't show here in the pic) 12" long x 4" high folded in half along the length to make a 4" x 6" card. Then each end of the two 6" lengths was folded in 2" to create a triangle which once decorated, was taped one ontop of the other forming the base. The scallops were cut using a corner rounder. I used Shell Pink Rangers paint dabber to colour the BG chipboard bookplate. Flower was given to me & the brad is Papermania or Making Memories (can't remember which I have soooo many!! I have a brad fetish) All edges dark brown Catseye Chalk ink.
