Birthday Card

Two of my team mates had birthdays this weekend. Pauline's was on Friday & her card is several posts down. I made it for a challenge on 18th Jan for sketches {by Tamara}. The one below is Rachel's. Her birthday was yesterday. I have had this 12x12 paper for ages & didn't know what to do with it so made up a black blank card & used a quarter of it. I inked & embossed the oval & stamped the words & corner decoration to finish it off. The inside is also stamped but it was too dark to get decent photos.
Migraines have kept me away from the computer most of the weekend. I have been trying to rest my eyes as they feel strained from sitting 6 hours a day on a computer at work!

Beautiful card Paula, I love how you have used the embossing for the center of the flower. The paper is so pretty. Hope your migraines are getting better.

Hey, Paula dear! So sorry to hear you've been having migraines. Ouch. Hope you feel better soon. *hugs*

Miss you and your lovely creations so much. Been sooo busy. It's a hit or miss thing when I create so I feel half my work is just practice. But the effort and frustration when they don't turn out okay remains the same. Haha.

Although I'm pretty happy with one or two creations I accidentally succeed in doing.

How are you?? Hope you get some downtime. Sounds like a busy but fun weekend for you.

Maybe you just need to have some quality away time from the PC. LOL. I need it too, fer sure.

*hugs and kisses from across the miles*
