3 Challenges in One Post!

Arty Girlz, challenge 1.
I only just got this done before the second one goes up tomorrow.
It was made last night, but the camera batteries died on me!
It is a 5x5 piece & serves as an attractive desk reminder of the regular weekly challenges.
Background paper is Papermania Inspirations Earth Tones. Stamped with pocket watch images & time quote, Artistic Stamper & leaves, Habico.
Overlay is a inkjet transparency printed with the days & the challenges. Boy was that fun as the stuff has to be on the rough side on the reverse so the text has to be reverse to begin!
Once printed it was fastened to the piece using 4 small gold brads & then I inked the whole piece very lightly with Adirondack Alcohol ink, Butterscotch,

Art Journal wk38, I wonder...
Background is a page from an old book, lightly washed with two acrylic paint colours, pink & brown. Over the top of this is a piece of acetate inked with Adirondack cranberry & currant.
Leaves along bottom are created in paintshop pro using picture tube.
Leaves stamped & cut out. Words printed on a small piece of self adhesive vellum. My supply of this is now empty & can't find a stockist!!

TMTA - Smile

What makes me smile. Well quite a few things do, but the most obvious that springs to my mind is this picture of my cat, Thomas when he was just 6 or 8 wks old. It sits right here on my desk so I can see it everyday. I nicknamed him totty as he was so tiny. When he passed away I decided to call my card & crafts Tot Creations, in his honour. What also makes me smile is this gorgeous background kindly made & given to us crafters by the incredibly talented Hermine Koster.

Hi, Paula! Wow, I can relate on the number of challenges. It's like it's what I do all the time. LOL. But it is such fun and is incredibly addicting. But I've decided to stick to what's on my plate right now and not add anymore. Hahah.

Love the alcohol ink effect and how cute is that little kittie. =)
