AAE - Remember

While the last challenge focused on the everyday today, we thought we'd piggyback on that to give you a challenge with a choice. Actually...a glimpse with a choice. Is there something in the past that you think about a lot? A best friend that you miss? The place you grew up? Your perfect wedding? Or maybe breakfast out with your dad every Sunday morning...just you and him. Anything in your past that just comes to memory right now? Or something that you've been thinking about lately maybe...Or, do you prefer not to dwell in the past? Maybe you like to think about what the future may bring? Where will you be next year? In 5 years? In 10? Where do you want to be? Or maybe you have plans for something special, a goal in mind, and you hope that you make it?Scrap that glimpse...past or future...but scrap it!

Here is my layout.
This is a close up of my hidden journalling.
Papers are from a paper & embellishment pack I picked up at The Range. The colours just spoke to me. They have no names. Flowers are Scrapfairies. Title, MM glitter stickers. Memory meaning rub on, & weather vane, Create a Collage,Royal & Langnickel.
Buttons, brads & photo turn all papermania.
Journalling reads,
I remember the days when this was a very well kept home with fabulous gardens & furnishings.
Mr & Mrs Cullum owned it & I used to go for sewing lessons as she made wonderful soft toys.
Sadly they are gone & this will be knocked down..
I made the mouse 30 years ago. The bungalow is a pre fab aluminium house pre war. There are only two left, in Immingham where I grew up. Perhaps now only one.
I have more papers from this kit & another idea so I might be doing TWO pages for this challenge!!!

I love your layout and it makes me think about houses...especially, the one in which I grew up. It is so historic and cool and I've never scrapped about it...crazy. I need to change that!

Oh gosh, Paula dear. Your works are so beautiful! Love how you've incorporated all these vintage things in your creations. Gorgeous, girl!

Oh and I decided to delete my private blog too. I didn't see the point of cross-posting anymore since I regularly update my public blog. Thanks for always dropping by. Hope you're doing well. =)

This is such a sweet memory Paula, and a gorgeous dreamy layout. Love the hidden journalling. I think you have a real way with words girlie.

I remember those prefabs, we had them in our village where I grew up - in fact after my parents moved down south from Liverpool they lived for a while in one! They were lovely little homes!
