Not much crafting going on!
I don't know about anyone else, but crafting is taking a backseat at the moment. Im working on a minibook but enjoying the process of putting the pages together. Im enjoying reading & more importantly I am getting all my housework done! You know the boring stuff such as paintwork, windows, washing net curtains, taking down the winter thick pairs & putting up the flimsy light ones that make it feel airy & cool. I enjoy cleaning right through room by room, & it has to be done when I'm really in the mood. Last night just before bed I decided the bathroom needed cleaning. So, I did! Sunday morning at 7.30am, I got up to make a mug of tea & ended up washing all my kitchen cupboard fronts & paintwork. But it feels so good now its done & perhaps once it is I might get down to more crafting again.

That sounds good spring cleaning, Paula ! As long as it doesnt bug you so much. I know I hate housework myself & try to get away with as little as I can where possible . I even hardly cook these days cos it's cheaper to buy cooked food here what with rising food costs - rice , meat , egss everything !! Fortunately we are able to get help here if not I would be living in a sty ! hey ho !
I love painting! sometimes I think taking a break and working on other projects will get the mojo flowing in other ways. have fun and we'll see ya when you get back.
goodness, you have been a busy bee!
Crafting has taken a back seat for me too, but only 'cos I've been basking in the sunshine :0)
Paula you sound like you're having so much fun with your housework I really think it's only kind if I let you do mine too ;)
I'm not doing much crafting either Paula, it takes me so long preparing everything for my lessons on Tues and I've got 2 full days of demoing to prepare for over the Bank Holiday weekend. I hope you can get your sewing machine fixed soon
it is so funny how little things like painting and cleaning can make us feel good. I know it is work and needs to be done, but I feel so great once it is!
