New Dare Up, & Boy is it a Good One!!!

Those amazing ladies at Daring Cardmakers have excelled themselves again!!!!
This weeks dare was "Sing"... Design any type of card you desire, but it has to contain song lyrics or song titles on it. "Happy Birthday" & "Congratulations", however were not allowed....
Their designs are fabulous so take a look over on their site or each of the individuals blogs...
I had a blank mind when I first read the design brief, but soon got an idea into my head & I was buzzing all the way around Sainsbury's. Making it was easy, getting a decent photo was the hardest part!!!!!
See below for my effort.......

My chosen song/ song lyrics are by the artist Seal, A Kiss From A Rose.
I used a few lines of the song & think this would make a romantic Wedding Anniversary Card.
I used red music print patterned paper. Silver music print vellum. Red with gold flecked mulberry paper. Two real pressed roses & a silver bow. The lyrics are printed using font Black Chancery.
In case you can't read the card very well, the words are;
"Baby, I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the grey. Ooh, the more I get of you the stranger it feels, yeah.. Now that your rose is in bloom, a light hits the gloom on the grey....."
To me, (& I'm in danger of showing that I am a bit of an old romantic....) these words describe the feeling of real love......
