Opening mini books

Due to the number of lovely comments left about the commission card, just completed, I thought I'd post these two pictures. They were the best two I've done. They were an 80th birthday mini book (which can be viewed in flickr, but am seriously thinking of having a 2nd blog of designs like several Australian ladies are doing.)
This time the parcel fills the whole age & as Eleni commented, would look good on a birthday scrapbook layout.
Well this was a mini version
The original idea came from a design by Shirley Toogood in Scrapbook Inspirations. I adapted the size etc to whatever project I'm doing.

Absolutely gorgeous Paula ... I'm finally back on-line from home, and I've also uploaded the layout where I used your minibook idea ... didn't do the whole 3x3 squares ... I did a 2x3 and even so there was so much to use .... off to read more of your blog!
